Whole Foods Market Nickels for Non-Profits Program Benefits BFHP
Whole Foods Market in Berkeley is supporting Berkeley Food and Housing Project now through the holiday season with its Nickels for Non-Profits program. This is a program where customers who bring their own bags when they shop at Whole Foods Market in Berkeley are given a nickel credit for every reusable bag they use. These nickels can then be donated to a non-profit of their choice.
This is an efficient way for BFHP to raise money without investing a lot of staff time. We just need you to take your reusable bags with you when you shop at Whole Foods in Berkeley. Tell the clerk at the register that you want your donation to benefit Berkeley Food and Housing Project.
The program runs only at the Whole Foods Market at 3000 Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley, now through January 16, 2011.
